Young and old alike enjoyed the Back to School Bash last Saturday held at Jones County High School as a last fling before school started back this week. The event, hosted by the JCHS Band Booster Club and the Jones County Cruisers, was held on the football practice fields and the parking lot adjacent to the football stadium. Youngsters enjoyed climbing a rock wall, throwing footballs and cooling off on inflatable water slides. Adults enjoyed looking at the vintage cars and shiny new models in the car show, and there were also several vendors on hand to sell crafts and other items, plus health screenings offered by Coliseum Hospitals.
