Early voting is coming to a close as Election Day draws closer, which means it is time for all registered Jones County and Gray voters to cast their ballots.

Tuesday, Nov. 5, is Election Day for Gray’s city election, and it is also the day that voters in Jones County and Gray will decide if they are in favor of Sunday beer and wine sales in retail stores that are already selling the beverages.

If the referendum passes, it will permit the package sales by retailers of beer and wine on Sunday from 12:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

All Jones County and Gray registered voters can go to the Government Center and vote from the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., but the last day to go to the Government Center for early voting is Friday, Nov. 1.

No early voting is permitted Nov. 4.
