The teams swapped single runs in the first inning, then Jones County pulled ahead with two runs in the second and another in the third. The Hounds put Upson-Lee away with a 13-run fourth, coach Chris Martin reported.

Chandler Ramage led the offensive attack with two hits and four RBIs, Alex Bass added two hits and three RBIs, Lonnie Anderson had two hits and two RBIs, and Keaton Gordon had a double and two RBIs.

Cody Compton got the win with three strikeouts in two innings, Ramage struck out three in one inning, and Kaleb Brown pitched the final inning.

The Hounds are scheduled to host Perry at 5:55 p.m. on Friday and Veterans at the same time on Monday.
