The boys downed Upson-Lee 330-365 in an 18-hole make-up road match on Tuesday.
For season scoring purposes, the leading boys’ average nine-hole scores for the match were Michael O’Connor 38, Kristopher Miller 41, Zack Haney 42, Storm Vaughn 43, Tyler Samuel 44 and Colby Daniels 47.
The girls topped Upson-Lee 194-210, led by Kaitlyn Hemstreet with a 47, Kensley Brown 49, and Anna Martin and Charli Justice with 51 each.
The Greyhounds won a home match at Lake Jonesco when Monticello had to withdraw due to illness of a player during the match. Top scorers for the Jones County boys were Chris Kirkwood and Miller, each with a 37, Brannen Meadows 38, Vaughn 41, Haney 42 and Daniels 42.
