JONES COUNTY: Bobby Lesuer Gaultney Sr., 79, of Debbie Drive, died Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014, at a local hospital. The family greeted friends from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m., Sunday, at Bridges Funeral Home in Gray. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, Feb. 17, in the chapel of Bridges Funeral Home, with interment at Cedar Ridge Cemetery in Gray. The Rev. Len Woodard and Robert Andrews officiated.

Mr. Gaultney was born June 4, 1934, in Macon, and was the son of the late Walker Fred Gaultney Sr. and Ruth Elizabeth Singleton. Mr. Gaultney was a member of Mabel White Baptist Church in Macon and worked as the manager for Jones Acres Mobile Home Park. He was also an EPD certified water operator, a certified welder, and a heavy equipment operator. He was liked by all who knew him and was preceded in death by his longtime companion, Linda Neal.

Mr. Gaultney is survived by his children, Gail Hill, Bobby Gaultney Jr., Terry Gaultney and Cheryle Baptiste; stepchildren and spouse, Kathy and Clifford Freeman and Glen Edison; sisters and brothers-in-law, Juanell Estes, Levene and Robert Andrews and Deana and Monroe Landers; brother, Roy Gaultney; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and by his canine best friend, Harley.
