JONES COUNTY: Richard Anthony “Tony” Valier, 47, passed away Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, at a local hospital after an extended illness. Visitation is Thursday, Jan. 17, 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m., in the chapel of Bridges Funeral Home, followed by a 2:00 p.m. service.

Tony was a loving father, husband, son and brother. He was born in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., attended high school in Jones County, and lived here all of his adult life. He is survived by his wife, Kim; daughter, Brooke; stepson, Chaz; stepdaughter, Lana; brother, Jim; mother, Sandy; father, Eric; stepmother, Linda; and nephew, Mason.
