Liz was predeceased by her parents, Payton A. and Mary Croxton Parker; a brother, Raymond Parker; three half brothers; two half sisters; and two loving husbands, Jesse Irby (28 years) and Reuben Blake (10 years).
Raised in Middlesex County, Va., Liz lived for many years in Bena and Gloucester Point, Va., before moving to Flagler Beach, Fla., to be with her beloved nephew, Steve Irby and his wife, Irene. In 2005, she moved to Macon to be near her daughter, Sandra.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth Irby of Powhatan, Va.; daughter, Sandra Thomas (Tom) of Macon; sister, Anne Crockett; brothers, Richard Parker (Grace) and Larry Parker (Joyce); and Jacki Saccucci of Titusville, Fla., whom she loved as another daughter. Additionally, she is survived by her grandchildren, Jay Collins of Las Vegas, Nev., Tiffany Collins of Macon and Kimberly Irby of Vancouver, Wash., and by her four great-grandchildren, Jesse, Journee and Christian Collins and Gracie Willis.
A faithful Christian, Liz was a loving wife, mother, grandmother (“Bannie”), great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many. She will be missed more than words can express. As an organ donor, she will live on by helping others in need. To those who wish to pay tribute to Liz, she would have been happy for them to simply offer a kind word or deed to someone in need. By doing so, the world will be a better place, and Liz’s memory will live forever.
