Mrs. Dennis was born Aug. 23, 1940, in Oklahoma City, Okla., and had lived in the Middle Georgia area for most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Carpenter Sr. Mrs. Dennis had worked as a secretary at Robins Air Force Base.
Mrs. Dennis is survived by her husband, John Dennis of Fort Valley; sons, Jerry Paul Rowland Jr. and Clark Allen Rowland, both of Jones County; six grandchildren; and by two great-grandchildren.
