GRAY: Ruby Elaine Shadrick Peacock, 88, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013. Funeral services were conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, Jan. 11, in Williams White Columns Funeral Home, with the Rev. Gary Thomas officiating. Private interment was in the Elam Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Peacock was a native of Cuthbert, and was the daughter of the late Ural Whitt Shadrick and Mamie Lee Chitty Shadrick. She retired from Middle Georgia Hospital as a nursing assistant. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Charleen Renfrow.

Survivors include her daughter, Laura (Julio) Diaz of Gray; her son, Charles J. (Jacqueline) Peacock III of Macon; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
