For 30 years, in some way or another, she has been rescuing the needy four-footed furry canines and felines. After spending her college years going to school for nursing, getting her degree and working as an RN, it hit her one day that she was not where her heart was.
Driving back South one evening after doing her own work of bringing rescues up to Maine, she heard about a Connecticut company that has an odd mission – spaying and neutering animals in a wayfaring van that traveled from town to town.
She thought it sounded too good, but two days later after calling Fido Fixers and finding out it not only sounded but is good, she was able to attain a van and hit the road, finally feeling at home and at heart.
