Tim Randolph returns to the state individual wrestling tournament for the second year in a row for the Greyhounds, but this year only one teammate will be accompanying him instead of three.

Randolph, a senior who was battling a bad cold that limited his stamina, went 3-3 to place sixth in the east sectional tournament in the 120-pound division last weekend at Cambridge High School.

Sophomore Torrez Finney, who was 3-2 to finish seventh in the 170-pound division, also advances to state, as the top eight in each weight division at the two sectionals earned spots in the 16-man brackets.

Randolph placed third in the state at 106 pounds last year after winning the division title in the sectional.

Sophomore Daniel Curry (195) and junior Scott Rooks (220), who both made it to state last season, had disappointing weekends, each going 1-3 and failing to advance.
