Matthew Kyle Walton, 20, was arrested Dec. 5 and charged with possession of marijuana less than ounce (misdemeanor) and theft by motor vehicle.
Timothy Jacob Parsons, 18, and Travis Dean Bell, 27, were arrested Dec. 7 and charged with burglary.
Jones County Deputy Paul Hathaway said the sheriff’s department received a report of a truck stolen from a residence in Jones Crossing Dec. 4. He said Deputy Richard Dipaolo responded to the call.
Hathaway said he was off work the next day but received information about who took the truck and where it could be found.
The deputy said he called Dipaolo and gave him the information.
“I told him were to look. He did and he found it,” Hathaway said.
Dipaolo located Walton at a local convenience store and took him into custody. Hathaway said the suspect admitted stealing the truck.
