GRAY: Jurelle Morgan Turk, 99, of Candler Road, went to her heavenly home on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, at her residence. The family greeted friends from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, at Bridges Funeral Home in Gray. Funeral services are being held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 27, at First Baptist Church of Gray, with the Rev. Jason Wade officiating. Burial will follow at Middle Georgia Memory Gardens in Jones County.

Mrs. Turk was born in Winder on May 5, 1913, and had lived in Gray for the past 70 years. She was the daughter of the late Wiley Evans and Mamie Austin Evans. Mrs. Turk retired as a civilian administrator from Robins Air Force Base. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Gray. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Wilkes Turk, and by her children, Cicero Turk and Morgan Turk.

Mrs. Turk is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Conkell; daughters-in-law, Ruby Turk and Faye Turk; and by nine grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
