The Hounds whipped First Presbyterian 12-2 at home last Thursday.
Keever Walker picked up the victory on the mound with relief help from Austin Bloodworth, coach Brandon Davis reported.
Tracy Jackson hit a two-run homer in the first to get Jones County going, and he scored the game’s final run on a bases-clearing double by Dee Thomas.
The Hounds beat visiting Perry 5-2 on Friday. Blake Hudgins picked up a complete game win on the mound. Hudgins also helped his cause at the plate, driving in the Hounds’ first run in the first.
Thomas and Davian Daniel also hit the ball hard for the Hounds.
