GRAY: James Elbert Warren, 64, of Jones Mill Circle, died Saturday, March 2, 2013, at a local hospital. The family greeted friends from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., Monday, at Bridges Funeral Home in Gray. Funeral services were held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 5, in the chapel of Bridges Funeral Home, with interment at Cedar Ridge Cemetery in Gray.

Mr. Warren was born Feb. 18, 1949, in Dublin and had lived in the Middle Georgia area for most of his life. He was the son of the late Douglas Warren and Alma Williams and had honorably served his country with the U.S. Marine Corps. Mr. Warren was a journeyman for Georgia Power Company.

Mr. Warren is survived by his wife of 45 years, Edna Warren; son and daughter-in-law, David and Deborah Warren; granddaughters, Emily Warren and Brittani Hedrick and her husband, Jamie; sister, Sheila Key; brother, Ronnie Williams; and by several nieces and nephews.
