Several JCHS players earn all-region honors

Several members of the Jones County High School soccer teams have earned all-region honors.

Striker Adam Sole, who scored 30 goals in 12 games, was named to the all-region team for Region 2-AAAAA for the Greyhounds, coach Duane Kitchens announced.

Honored on the sub-region team were goal keeper Cory Dixon and defensive backs J.J. Bailey and Clarke Sweat.

For the Lady Hounds, Meghan Brennan, who had 15 goals and four assists, and Grace Henderson, who had two goals and 105 saves, were named all-region, reported coach Tamoco Hill.
