It was a rare holiday last year when Bresse didn’t have his annual Thanksgiving Fellowship.
Since its beginnings during the 1980s in California, North Carolina, and recently Milledgeville, he has felt a calling to give back in extraordinary measures during this time of year, his way of giving thanks.
In 2013 his business moved to Gray, and being extra thankful for family health, his tradition picks up again as local volunteers and businesses plan on feeding Turkey dinners with all the trimmings to upwards of 2,000 people.
Bresse wants all who desire to come eat or to help out in some fashion with the feeding, or financial provisions.
Those with no place to go are welcome to come to the Jonesco Clubhouse on Thanksgiving Day between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. to pick up a meal or sit down with others to dine. Bresse has devoted this yearly custom to also bringing the food to the hungry, whether at home or on the job.
