A Jones County man charged with the burglary of a neighbor’s home pled guilty to the offense in Superior Court last week and received a five-year sentence.

Travis Dean Bell was given one year of the five years to serve in the Jones County Law Enforcement Center with credit for the time he has served since his Dec. 7, 2012, arrest. The remainder of his sentence may be served on probation.

Bell was arrested with Matthew Kyle Walton and Timothy Jacob Parsons, who were involved with several burglaries that occurred in the same neighborhood.
