A fund-raiser to help fund a community center in Haddock is scheduled Dec. 6 at the LaFete Center in Milledgeville.

Tickets for the Gospel Extravaganza are available at the door of the center, located at 571 Hammock Road in Milledgeville, the evening of the event for $15, or they may be purchased prior to the concert from Evelyn Hill, Karen Young, Kenneth Barnes, or Katie Williams-White for $10.

Williams-White is the chairman of the Haddock Community Enrichment Center board of directors and organized the fund-raiser, which is a gospel concert featuring the Adside Sisters, Bob Jenkins & The Seven Wonders, LaChun Brown and Company, and Out of Darkness.

She said the groups are from Gordon, Milledgeville and Gray. The purpose of the fund-raiser is to help with the renovation of the Idella Duncan School in Haddock. The goal of the renovation is so the building can become a Community Enrichment Center to serve members of the Haddock community and help bring the community together.
