Several Jones County athletes earn All Middle Georgia honors

Several Jones County athletes have been recognized by The Telegraph on the All Middle Georgia teams for fall sports it recently published.

In softball, center fielder Jazmine Washington and pitcher Kylie Bass were named to the first team, second baseman Olivia Lane was named to the second team, and outfielder-third baseman Bree Comer, catcher Charli Justice and third baseman-designated hitter Kaitlin Stokes were honorable mention.

Fullback Walker Juhan made the second team All Middle Georgia football list, defensive end Doug Richardson was third team, and defensive back Landon Vaughn was honorable mention.

And in cross country, Hunter Kimball was recognized as All Middle Georgia due to his time in the state meet.

Many of those honored also were named to all-region or all-state teams in their sports.
