The Jones County boys won twice on the road last weekend, downing Houston County 49-42 on Friday and Baldwin 58-44 on Saturday.

Luke Lawson led the Hounds against Houston with 17 points, including four 3-pointers, and Davian Daniels scored 11 points.

Lawson, with 22 points, and Daniels, with 14, again paced the Hounds in the win at Baldwin.

The junior varsity boys lost twice the previous weekend, 60-51 at Warner Robins on Jan. 17 and 49-48 at Monticello on Jan. 18. Daniels led the Hounds with 23 points, and Dennis Woolfolk Jr. scored eight against Warner Robins. Daniels scored 17, Lawson 12 and Dre Butts 11 against Monticello.

The Hounds play at Northside-Warner Robins at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
