GRAY: Nathan Hugh Skinner Jr., 67, of Old Highway 18, died Thursday, April 24, 2014, at a local hospital. The family greeted friends from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., Sunday, April 27, at Bradley Baptist Church, prior to a 3:00 p.m. funeral service. Interment followed at Bradley Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Steve Johnson officiated.

Mr. Skinner was born Oct. 22, 1946, in Cumming, and had lived in Jones County most of his life. He was the son of the late Nathan Hugh Skinner Sr. and Lois Sulinda Wooten Moncrief. He served his country with honor in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. After completing his service, he retired as a truck driver for Apple Valley Feed Company.

Mr. Skinner is survived by his sons and daughters- in-law, Shawn Harden, Regan and Missy Skinner, Lance and Teresa Harden and Jeffrey and Kristy Skinner; nine grandchildren; and by his father, Paul Moncrief.
