The complaint of an intoxicated person ultimately resulted in the arrest of three residents of a home in Gray on drug charges.

Joseph R. Carter, Todd Lee Fincher Jr., and Todd Lee Fincher Sr. were arrested June 6 and charged with possession of cocaine and possession of marijuana. Carter was also charged with keeping a disorderly house, and Fincher Jr. was also charged with public intoxication.

The report of Gray Police Officer Jacob Hunnicutt stated that he was dispatched to a home on Pinewood Drive in Gray, and the complainant stated that Fincher Jr. came to her front door and started to beat on it.

She said the young man was loud and babbling about a stolen cooler, smelled of alcohol, and was carrying a beer. The complainant did not want the young man back on her property.

Hunnicutt went to the offender’s residence and found three males in the driveway. He made contact with Fincher Jr. and asked why he went to the complainant’s home. The officer also asked him if he thought it was a good idea to make contact with someone while he was intoxicated.

Fincher responded that he was trying to clear his name. Hunnicutt said all three of the men appeared nervous, and Carter commented that he could not control what went on at his house.
