The first day of business for Kneaded Relief, owned by licensed massage therapist Jennifer Snider Copeland, was July 15, and the official ribbon cutting, sponsored by the Jones County/Gray Chamber of Commerce, took place July 31.
Copeland graduated from college in December of 2006 and has served her clients in Jones County since 2007. Her first location was in Missy’s Place, and, for the past six-and-a-half-years, she has worked with Dr. Todd Kelleher and provided her massage therapy to her clients on a part-time basis.
Kneaded Relief is located in the Paul Sheets State Farm Building at 4130 Gray Highway, Suite B. Hours of operation are Monday through Saturday by appointment.
Copeland offers 30-, 60-, and 90-minute massage sessions, including Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone and pregnancy. She said massage relieves tension, stress, anxiety, helps with blood flow, circulation, headaches, reduces pain and inflammation, increases sports performance, boosts immune systems, helps with sleep, and improves flexibility and range of motion.
